Travolta's reps are playing down the kiss saying that his wife was on the plane at that time. Scandelous!

A Pouty Stefani to Skip VMAs?

The New York Post’s notorious gossip column, Page Six, has struck yet again. Its new target: Gwen Stefani, according to Us Weekly’s Web site.

Apparently, the singer is a bit ticked off that she worked so hard last year running around in Stefani-original clothing promoting, yet her efforts went virtually unnoticed at the VMAs. So fans anxiously awaiting her appearance at tomorrow night’s festivities may be disappointed if rumors prove to be true that Stefani will skip the show out of protest.

“She had a ton of nominations [last year] and was under the impression she would be taking home at least one award,” an insider said. “But every award, except that lame best-dressed award, went to Kelly Clarkson, and every time Kelly won, the camera went straight to Gwen. She felt set up.”

Hey, Gwen, look on the bright side. You did receive the Moon Man for best-dressed. And not just any celebrity can put in the time it takes to get that coveted honor.

Gwen, didn’t you learn in school that you can’t win everything? Maybe you should look deep inside yourself. Is it really Clarkson that you’re angry with, or is it yourself? The consequences of displacing your feelings can get ugly. Trust me.

And beside, it’s not whether you win or lose – it’s how you play the game. What kind of message are you sending your young son? After all, you’re a mom now and have to think of these things. Source

It's Good To Be Jessica Simpson

Life seems to be looking up for Jessica Simpson. Her latest album, A Public Affair, hit shelves Tuesday to much fanfare, and despite coming down with a case of laryngitis, she is still scheduled to perform on NBC’s Today show this Friday.

But what really and truly makes me jealous of Ms. Simpson? Her mystery man of late is apparently not so mysterious after all. Simpson and singer/songwriter John Mayer are getting cozy, PEOPLE magazine reports in its upcoming issue, on newsstands Friday.

“She's tiptoeing back into the dating world,” says a source. “It's the first stage. She's never been happier.”

This signals Simpson first official return to the dating scene following her split from singer Nick Lachey in November 2005. I know that those rumored flings with Dane Cook, Adam Levine and Jared Leto were just warm-ups, a sort of dating appetizer, right? Not bad choices, Jess!

The new lovebirds have known each other for years, and word on the street is that just like a typical girlfriend, Simpson is expected to go and cheer on Mayer in concert in Jones Beach, N.Y., Wednesday night.

Alright, Jess, I hope you know just how lucky you are. I couldn’t think of a better guy, and I still get like a little schoolgirl every time I hear Mayer’s “Your Body Is A Wonderland.” If you’re anything like me, you’ll start pretending he’s singing that song about you. Britney sells her NY pad

Britney Spears finally sold her New York digs after nearly two years on the market. (She has the house pre her marriage to Kevin Federline and the birth of their son, Sean Preston.)

The 4,400-sq.-ft. apartment fetched $4 million, reports the Wall Street Journal – noting that the price is $1 million more than the pop princess paid for it four years ago, but $2 million less than her original asking price.
As recently as last May, the three bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom, four-floor apartment (which also has a media room, library and terrace), had been priced at $4.55 million as, the New York Observer reported at the time and confirmed with Spears's real-estate broker. Source

The original Charlie’s Angels: Farrah, Kate and the ageless Jaclyn were at the Emmy's Sunday night to pay tribute to the late great father of trashy, insatiable, and yes completely addictive prime-time soap operas, Aaron Spelling. I don't care how much plastic surgery it took, but these three well-over 60-year-old broads still look great...Okay, truth be told, Farrah Fawcett is starting to look a bit scary; and she may be the next victim in Entertainment Tonight's hot-seat- in a segment where she is grilled by E!'s Dr. Rey, who will casually flip his ridiculously long pompadour of hair, as he smiles and tells her that she needs to stop getting face lifts. Maybe she could start refocusing her energy back into her once promising movie career. Okay that option might have fizzled with her latest film The Cookout,  but I think this old gal's still got some life left in her! Kate Jackson, still looks like the tough, butchie Angel, she's still got great arms and silky jet black hair, although I haven't got the faintest clue as to what rock she came out from under to pay tribute to Mr. Spelling. And...the ageless, stunning Jaclyn; Queen of her signature discount bedding and clothing collections...I think she must be a vampire feasting on the blood of newborn babies to stay so youthful...there is no other explanation. A Girl May Be on the Way For Ms. Spears

Hey, it looks like famous pop stars really are just like the rest of us. Soon-to-be mother Britney Spears can now check off another domestic task on her “normal people” list: the star is busy preparing for baby No. 2 by registering online for lovely baby gifts from Petit Tresor, the upscale baby and children’s boutique.

“Oh, it’s not a fake, she’s having a baby shower soon and has told friends that they can order gifts from the site,” a source tells MSNBC’s the Scoop, adding, “It’s not like she’s expecting her friends to buy everything for the baby. She’s already spent like $30,000 at the store.”

Now, before all you Britney fans run to your computers, it might be a good idea to check your bank balance. Britney’s already registered thousands of dollars worth of gifts for the tiny tot. And the items are, shall we say, a bit pricey: a chandelier for the baby’s rooms runs a steep $1,200!
Now, Britney, if you would have registered somewhere within my price-range, like Wal-Mart, I would have gotten you a gift. And I’m sure you’re fans would have too. There’s a nice crib set on Wal-Mart’s Web site for just $98.97. What's wrong with a good deal at a low price?
