LiLo Sobers Up

Lindsay Lohan's partying ways may be cut short with her attendance of AA meeting, PEOPLE reports. "Yes, she's been attending some meetings, and it's going to be a slow process," says her publicist, Leslie Sloane. "This is a positive. Let's hope that the press doesn't turn it into a negative." Sloane is asking the media to back off and not intrude on Lohan's meetings during her recovery, and Lohan's mother, Dina, told E!'s Ryan Seacrest that this is a "positive thing." I half-expected this was coming, but maybe now LiLo will get the help she needs. If not, maybe she should take up a hobby like sewing to curb her wild ways. Nothing says relaxation like a ball of yarn and a rocking chair, eh?

Back To The '60s With LiLo

Something tells me Lindsay Lohan channeled her new flick, Bobby, for this photo shoot for December's L'Officiel. I think Linds would have fit in well in the turbulent '60s, but would she be too busy partying to take a stand on social issues? Hmmm, I wonder, but it's nice to see her wear clothes for these shots, anyway!

News Flash: Lindsay Lohan wants to get one thing perfectly clear. She's NOT a party girl. In fact, she discloses to Oprah that, "I hate it," according to PEOPLE. Does she deserve that bad rep?  "No. I mean, I've been acting my whole life. And this is what I love to do. And I'm very lucky and blessed to be able to do that," she told the Talkshow Queen during a taping that will air Nov. 14. But don't let the innocent red hair fool you. Linds also likes to have a good time. "Is it a crime to go … dancing with your friends? I have a life and I have my family and I have work and I have those three things."  Is that all, Ms. Lohan? Or is there more you're not telling us because I'm a bit confused here...you're not a party girl but you like to party? Hmmm, I have to think about that one...

Is Lindsay Sad?

What's ever the matter, Ms. Lohan? You don't look any too happy in these pics at the Baume and Mercier Fall Preview. OK, so you have a little smirk on your face in the first pic, but what's with all the seriousness? And that black little outfit and dark hair can't help your mood, either! You can't possibly tell me your life is that bad. Is it boy trouble again? Maybe you're having withdrawal from all your famous shopping sprees? Whatever the cause of your woes, that bling-bling watch you're flashing there must make you a little happy. If not, I'd be willing to take it off your wrist, err, hands.

What's with stars getting all introspective lately and using the press for a therapy session? Lindsay Lohan is the latest, as she told InStyle magazine all about her hopes and dreams. And boy, does she have many! "I want to get married before I'm 30. And have my house. And make the kind of record I want. And I'd like to win an Oscar before then," the star says in the November issue. But wait -- it doesn't stop there. Here are some more quotable revelations from the interview.

On her plans to own a home: "Owning a house will make me very proud. I need a place to call home, to feel it's mine. I love to cook. My grandmother is Italian. I'm pretty practical. I'm a very domestic person."

On her July hospitalization and why she's settling down: "I tried to please my friend and I ended up getting sick. It's about learning to say no more than yes. I'm a people-pleaser. But you can't always make everyone happy."

Her biggest love mistake: "Falling in love for the first time and abusing the relationship. I was growing. It's the best thing that ever happened, but I wasn't ready. I moved too fast."

Meet Lindsay's New Friend

Lindsay, is there something we should know? US Weekly reports that you've got Rumer Willis, umm, working for you as your personal assistant. The mag claims the two were spotted zooming all over LA Saturday afternoon in a flashy convertible, stopping by an herbal tonic shop on Melrose Avenue. Later, Willis carried LiLo's shopping bags into the Chateau Marmont. Sources say the two are just friends...looks like they're pretty close friends judging by this picture. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Dina vs. Lindsay: Round 1

Like daughter, like mother! Lindsay Lohan's "party-hard" lifestyle is rubbing off on her mother, Dina - and then some! Though a source close to the star tells PEOPLE LiLo is "living clean," it didn't take any alcohol for a bit of family drama to ensue last week at New York City's Philippe restaurant. In classic Lohan Family fashion, what should have been a joyous event - a dinner for Dina's 44th birthday - turned into a screaming match between the elder Lohan and her daughter. Details are sketchy, but apparently Dina picked a fight, leaving Linds "miserable," said a source. The red-head stormed out, instructing her mother to "go to hell." A source said the spat could be result of the women's changing relationship and the fact that they've been in the biz together for 17 years.  "(Lindsay) is no longer a teenager. She needs her mother less in a managing capacity and more as a family member," says the source. Wow, this is getting pretty bad. Here's my Dr. Phil advice. Lindsay: Never go to bed angry. I hope you apologized to your mother. And you must set a better example for her, so STOP with all the partying and whatnot. Dina: You're 44 and still a heavy partier. How's that working for ya? Now, will you two please kiss and make up? And retract those claws! Source

Lindsay Lohan takes yet another trip to the hospital

Lindsay Lohan either has an obsession with ER doctors, an addiction to painkillers or a real problem. She was once again been rushed to a hospital this weekend, this time for a fractured wrist.
Access Hollywood reported from a "source close to Lindsay Lohan" that the actress went to the emergency room at St. Vincent's Friday in New York after sustaining a fall. She slipped at a fashion week party in New York and her driver took her directly to the hospital. She was supposed to leave for LA today, but after her flight was delayed because of rain, she stayed in Manhattan. You think she'll leave the hospital 30 pounds lighter this time too? Source
