Aaron Carter Is A Man Now

Breaking news: I feel very old right now. No really, I do. And the reason? Aaron Carter is engaged. That's right. The little boy once caught in a love triangle/cat fight between Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan is a man now. His bride-to-be is Kari Ann Peniche, a 22-year-old Playboy Playmate. Carter popped the question in style in Las Vegas in front of 200 people during a show for the Playboy Comedy Tour. "I don't remember it happening. It was such a blur," Peniche told PEOPLE about the surprise proposal. "I had no idea he was going to do this, but I'm glad he did. I'm very excited about it. Aaron is the most genuine person I know. He's kind, loving, and I love him so much." Awww, doesn't that just scream puppy love? I can just hear Donny Osmond singing "Puppy Love" in the background. But good for Carter - he's marrying a Playmate AND she's an older woman. Looks like big bro Nick taught you good, Aaron, since he used to date Peniche. It's best to keep these things in the family. The girls are no longer next door

Sunday night featured an emotional season finale of The Girls Next Door, which focused on the girls' second spread for Playboy. As usual, Bridget took the heat for taking up a little too much camera space, }[no really, this time THEY said it], Holly convinced Heff to let the girls "show their personalities" by allowing them to direct their own personalized photo shoots: Holly played Monroe with high heels and gloves, Kendra showed her moves on the football field and covered up with a helmet and war paint and Bridget...well, she took a bunch of space. All in all it was a saucy episode, so you can imagine my delight when I saw the final product on newstands today. I especially like that it was a double-sized feature. Junk in that trunk! Source
