MTV Music Video Awards report

Nothing noteworthy happened a last night's MTV Awards, held at New York's Radio City Music Hall. Justin Timberlake opened the show with a pretty sexy dance, although he looked like a nerd. Pharell did a sweet number with Luda and was filmed checking out his dancers. Shakira's hips didn't lie. Beyonce did her thing. Yatta yatta. No on stage kisses, but Monica (remember her?) brought her dog and Fergie reportedly showed up in a horse drawn carriage. Check out the SF Chronicle's live blog coverage of the event.

I heart Huckabees star Naomi Watts and her fella Liev Shreiber were spotted grocery shopping in Brentwood. We're so infatuated with them. Too cute. Source

Infatuation of the week: Ciara

Lil' Ciara's goodies are looking pretty great these days. She's dumped lil Bow Wow and has been all over the place looking totally grown and sexy. Word is her upcoming video for "Get Up," she'll be shrouded in darkness, visible only through reflected light to accentuate her dance moves with a new effect. "It's a song I wrote and co-produced with Jazze Pha," Ciara said. "It's for the movie 'Step Up,' which I have had the chance to see and the dancing is very beautiful. [Kahn's] energy is amazing. Also, a lot of the choreographers [on the video] are up and coming, which I really love. There's one guy I pulled from high school who I told, 'If I ever make it, I'm gonna bring you up. You're part of the evolution.'" Source
