Laguna Beacher Kristin Cavallari, who is proving to be the only cast member with real staying power...not matter how much I don't want to admit it, showed up for the 25th anniversary of Guess party this week. Cavallari has modeled a few campaigns for the company, who is trying to bring sexy back and erase the fact that Anna Nicole Smith was once their hottest model. Kristin is, at the very least, an upgrade from Anna. She does need to handle her bra though. Source

Tune in to Laguna Beach

Episode dos of Laguna Beach's third season airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET. The show features a new narrator, Tessa, plus eight other regular cast members. Among them are Chase and Kelan, who have their own rock band, Open Air Stereo.
According to the ultimate source, The Laguna Beach Hook Up, the reviews suggest this season is going to be as good as the previous ones. "Tessa is likable compared to Kyndra and Cami, the deliciously loathsome queen bees ruling this social jerk circle," The Boston Herald's Mark A. Perigard's writes. "Not nearly as sexy as they think they are, Kyndra and Cami share a quarter of a brain yet manage to instill fear throughout their high school clique." The Hartford Courant says the cast includes "layabout girls who stress about boys and have daggers out for rival girls (for reasons they seem to forget) and boys who are more clueless than ever, whose maintenance of abdominal muscles seems their main goal."
But The New York Times' Virginia Heffernan says there might be a problem because Tessa "cannot carry the voice-over. Second, and worse: she's not popular. For 'Laguna Beach,' that's downright ominous." And "Tessa's exclusion from the ranks of haughty Kyndra and scheming Cami, the big dogs here, is going to suffuse the drama with status anxieties that have no place on 'Laguna Beach.'"

Jason speaks about his break up from LC

Jason Wahler, aka LC's boy toy on The Hills and Laguna Beach, has spoken out about his break up from L.C. on his myspace blog saying she was his first real love and asking people to leave him alone. Ok so starting around Mid/Late July after we got back from our trip, We just constantly starting arguing. Like I'd call her and she'd be busy and couldnt talk, So she'd call me later and I didnt have time to talk. And that basically went on for about a week. Then when we finally found the time to be around each other, things just seemed to slowly drift apart. For example usually when we go out to eat we have a lot of fun together, and we kind of sat there in silence. And when there was speaking, it usually was either just things like "ok, yeah, sure, no" just stuff like that. Kind of like the way you act when you dont really wanna be around someone. Not that we didnt wanna be around each other, we just simply had nothing really to say. So withen the next week we hung out a couple times and every time we hung out it just got further and further apart to the part where it just looked like we didnt even know each other. So I basically went up to Laguna for the weekend and when I came back to Los Angeles things have just completly changed. So we decided to go out and discuss our relationship. We really didnt have much to say to each other. Then all it took was me to say "so is this the end" and thats when the downpour came. We constantly fought and argued for about a week, till we just decided that we couldnt be together anymore, and our relationship just wasnt working. I was out at clubs partying, and she was doing the same and our trust for each other faded. Either way you put the relationship, it wasnt my fault, and it wasnt her fault. It just happened that way, and I'm sorry that it had too but it was the best for both of us, We just couldn't go on with this find of a relationship.

The drama ensues tonight on The Hills (MTV 10 p.m.) when LC rushes from her internship at Teen Vogue to a birthday dinner for Jason, who she kissed last episode! Will he be mad she's late? Will they stay together? Is he a jerk? Should she forget him and focus on her career so she doesn't end up like her deadbeat roommate Heidi? Umm yeah.
