Totally Awesomness dude, check it out

Ahhh all is finally right in the world! There is an amazing 80s dance game now online in support of Totally Awesome, airing on VH1 on November 4^th at 9pm EST, and hitting stores on DVD on November 7^th. The Totally Awesome game gives users the opportunity to play Dance Dance Revolution as one of the Totally Awesome characters in old-school 80’s clothing, performed to 80’s music. The plot of the show is such: Two small-town teens face the trials and tribulations of fitting into a new high school when their family moves to the big city, 1980’s style. The popular girl, the jock bully, the cool rebel, the meddling principal… they’re all here in this hilarious send-up of 80's movies that has it all.  Whether you were preppy or new wave, this movie will be awesome, Totally Awesome.

Project Runway guru Tim Gunn opens up

Viva Las Vegas baby! New season premieres tonight

I’m not ashamed to admit that NBC's Las Vegas is my new guilty pleasure. I may have joined a little late in the game, but the show’s antics are too flashy, saucy and entertaining to ignore. Written by the same man that brought the world The Fast and the Furious, the show highlights an elite Las Vegas surveillance team charged with maintaining the security of one of “Sin City’s” largest resorts and casinos. Featuring head-honco James Caan (The Godfather, Misery) and his protégé, Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel, All My Children and longtime beau to Fergie, or as she is now known “The Dutchess” of the Black Eye Peas), the characters deal with cheaters, thieves, the competition and whinny high-rollers. The fourth season premieres tonight, on NBC at 9 p.m., but I suggest you get your hands on the unedited season three DVD to acquaint yourself with the characters and the killer end-of-the-season cliff hanger before you sit down for a new season Tivo session. I’m so infatuated.

Jakob Dylan tries his hands at TV…music

Jakob Dylan has written and recorded the theme song for "Six Degrees," the new ABC Television drama produced by J.J. Abrams ( of Lost fame) that airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET. Dylan’s "Here Comes Now," produced by Steve Lillywhite (U2, Dave Matthews), is a ringing, anthemic track that complements the show's theory that every person on the planet is connected to every other person…or soon will be. 
The song will debut in the show's season premiere, Thursday, September 21, 2006 on ABC following "Grey's Anatomy." 
New songs written and recorded by Dylan will be a regular part of the show, with "Stardust Universe" and "No Matter What" slated for early episodes. The songs will be available on iTunes soon after their airings on Six Degrees
According to "Six Degrees" Executive Producer J.J. Abrams, ""I've been a huge fan of Jakob's for years -- his music has soul and heart and makes you feel good.  I'm thrilled to have this chance to work with and get to know this incredible artist."
