Here's another case of celebrity denial, or maybe just a handy PR spin. Young diva JoJo caused quite a stir back in October when she was spotted at LA hot spot Hyde Lounge. This trip probably wouldn't have sent the flashbulbs popping and the gossip columnist typing if it had been, say, Paris Hilton or Jessica Simpson. The difference? You see, little JoJo is only 15 years old, and apparently there's some rule about not being admitted to bars if you're under 21. "I didn't know it was 21 and over," she told PEOPLE at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles. "It's a freakin' restaurant and I was there with my mom and two other underage friends. I had milk and cookies! I wasn't drinking alcohol." Now, JoJo, you may be young, but I don't peg you as being that innocent. Milk and cookies at a nightclub? That's like going to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory and eating Lean Cuisine. Isn't it time you set a better example for your younger fans?

Although she looks pretty in these pics, is this really the proper attire for a nighttclub, her supposed destination? I don't know if it will attract the eyes of the boys...or if it will just attract a lot of old women saying, "Honey, I have the exact same dress!"

 

Bob Barker Signs Off

Bob Barker, come on down! You're the next contestant on "Let's Retire." It's a sad, gloomy day in Gameshow Land as the iconic host of The Price Is Right (you know, the game with the giant wheel) will retire in June after 50 years on TV, PEOPLE reports. "I will be 83 years old on Dec. 12," he told the Associated Press, "and I've decided to retire while I'm still young." This disappoints me greatly. I'm going to miss the old guy. I used to watch that show as a kid and dream about being in the Showcase Showdown. Don't rob me of my dream, Bob!!

Poor Paul Abdul...no one wants to be her friend. According to PR-Inside.com, the American Idol judge failed to lure ebayers to her charity auction. The item up for sale was a VIP package, complete with two first-class tickets to LA, a shopping spree and a backstage visit with the star. Total retail value? The bidding started at $26,000, but the auction was shut down four days later without any takers. "This sort of charity auction usually makes a mint. It’s kind of sad that nobody wanted to bid on Paula," says an ebay spokesperson. Hmmm, maybe it has something to do with the fact that not many people have that kind of cash lying around. Or maybe people would rather spend a visit with Simon...

Scarlett Johansson Has Musical Dreams, Too!

Well, now it's ALL clear...anyone can get a record deal these days. FOX News reports actress Scarlett Johansson has signed a recording contract for her debut album, "Scarlett Sings Tom Waits." As the name implies, the girl will be working with legendary singer-songwriter, Tom Waits, on an album of cover songs to slip her feet into the musical waters. The recording sessions will revolve around her filming schedule, with a possible album release next spring. A FOX columnist assures us Johansson is the real deal: "My spies say that Scarlett has a lovely, whispery delivery that carries a tune nicely and is suited to Waits' unusual lyrics," he said. Awesome! That just makes me want to quite my day job and run out and join the circus. If Ms. Scarlett can do it, so can I.

Sienna's At It Again

Poor girl! It looks like Sienna Miller's little Pittsburgh-bashing session (the actress called the city “Sh-tsburgh” in a Rolling Stone interview) is stil coming back to haunt her, according to US Weekly. The starlet was merely looking for a good time when she arrived at local hot spot Folino's Saturday night. The club's doorman asked to see some ID, like any good doorman would. And what did Ms. Sienna do? She pulled out the favorite celebrity card. "Do you know who I am?" she supposedly asked. "I'm Sienna Miller, the actress." When that didn't do the trick, Miller had had enough. "I'm going to put down Folino's as the worst place and Pittsburgh people aren't anything," she said as she stormed off. That's some good damage control you've got going there, Sienna...what a perfect way to repair your broken image.

Tara Reid: The Truth

It's official: Tara Reid's finally coming clean with the details of her plastic-surgery-gone-wrong tale. In an interview and cover story for US Weekly, Reid admits to going under the knife September 6 for reconstructive surgery to repair damage from a 2004 implant-liposuction. Reid originally had the procedure done to even out her, well, uneven breasts. But, Tara, what went wrong? “First of all, I asked for big Bs, and he did not give me big Bs. He gave me Cs, and I didn’t want them. At all," the star shared. "Right after the surgery, I had some bumps along the edges of my nipples, but the doctor said, ‘Don’t worry, it’s going to be better.’ But after six months of ‘it’s going to get better,’ it started to get worse and worse.” Sorry, girl. I guess that's the price you pay to be a Hollywood (artificial) beauty. Take it as a life lesson and move on...

So my favorite actress (read: sarcasm) is finally opening up about her not-so-hush-hush relationship with boyfriend and Black Dahlia co-star, Josh Hartnett. The star had a heart-to-heart with Allure for its November issue, and PEOPLE was kind enough to post some awe-inspiring quotes from the interview. "Josh is very sweet," Ms, Scarlett said of Mr. Hottnett. "He's a good boy. A great person. I'm very lucky and I'm very happy." So it's good to know that everything is A-OK, though I wish Joshyy was my guy. Has this relationship tamed her supposed wild ways? Contrary to what people think, Scarlett IS NOT promiscuous. Yet," she goes on to say, "I wouldn't say I'm a serial monogamist, either. I mean, I went through periods of time when I was, ah, single. But when I'm in a relationship, I'm in a relationship." She then launches into some speech about how we're all animals, and my poor little eyes start to glaze over. Huh? I was just downright confused - and bored. So...is she wild or not? I'm not really sure, and I don't think Scarlett is, either. But it's good to know that she is at least responsible when it comes to bedroom relations. "I get tested for HIV twice a year," she says. "One has to be socially aware. It's part of being a decent human, to be tested for STDs. It's just disgusting behavior when people don't. It's so irresponsible." AMEN to that, Sister!!!
